If you are a photographer or you take photos for fun you can make money from your photos. You can submit your photos to shutterstock and you get paid every time one of your photos is downloaded. It is completely free to join shutterstock. Shutterstock will pay you $0.25 every time one of your images is downloaded. That means that at just 2000 downloads/month, you can earn $500 (US) per month. You can turn your hobby into cash with this exciting program. Once you reach $500 in earnings, your commission goes up to $0.30 per download. Each time a user downloads your photo, your commission is added to your earnings. You will be able to see detailed statistics in the member’s area.

The photos you submit has to be approved by them. Their review team will approve/deny uploaded photos within 24-48 hours during normal times. Web designers, magazine editors, and other graphic artists purchase monthly subscriptions to Shutterstock to download photos from their site. That is how they make money.

You have to upload a scanned image of government issued id proof such as driving licence, passport etc while registering on the website. Payments are made every month. You must accumulate at least $75 to be paid by Paypal or Moneybookers, or $300 to be paid by paper check.
