Make FREE Money Transfer Using NEFT

If you want to transfer money from one bank to another bank there is no need to go to the bank. You can use the NEFT facility for transferring funds for free and this facility is available in internet banking of many banks. If you are doing this transaction from a bank branch the bank will charge a fee. If you want to transfer money with in the same bank you can transfer instantly using internet banking. I am using state bank of india internet banking and they charge a fee of 5 rupees per transaction for transferring funds to a different bank. It is free in banks like ICICI, HDFC etc.
For transferring money using the NEFT system you need the IFSC code of the bank branch besides the name and account number of the receiving person. IFSC stans for Indian Financial Systems Code and is an alpha numeric code. It is a unique code for each bank branch and identifies the name of bank and branch. The IFSC code will automatically appear if you select the bank and branch correctly in internet banking. The recipient will receive money with in 2 or 3 business days.
You will find this very useful for transferring money to your friends, relatives or for business needs.
