EntroPay Card – Free Virtual Credit Card
If you want to purchase anything online then you should have a credit card. Most people only have a debit card, but Indian debit cards are not accepted online. Now you can create virtual credit card from your debit card using EntroPay. This virtual credit card can be used to pay online and can be used on any website. You can use it to fund paypal. You can use it on major websites like eBay, Clickbank, Google adwords etc. You can also use it for forex trading.
What is EntroPay Card?
An EntroPay Account is a prepaid account. The Entropy Virtual VISA Card works just like a normal VISA card when you make online purchases. The EntroPay account gives you an Entropy Virtual VISA Card which you can use to make online purchases wherever VISA is accepted. Entropay card is completely free to create. You only need to register on EntroPay website ( entropay.com ) and add your debit or credit card to fund EntroPay. You can create more no of cards for different payment. You can use any debit/credit card issued by any bank to fund EntroPay.
You need a debit card with a card verification no to fund EntroPay. The card verification no is a 3 digit no on the back side of the card. Please note that the normal debit card issued by State Bank of India is a maestro card and can’t be used to fund EntroPay since it doesn’t have a card verification no on the back side. You can ask the SBI branch to issue a visa or mater card debit card.
EntroPay Card fees
There are no monthly or annual fees with an EntroPay Virtual Card. Their only fee is the charge on each amount loaded onto an EntroPay Virtual Card is 4.95%. There are no hidden fees.
EntroPay Plastic MasterCard
EntroPay also provides plastic master card which you can get it for just $9.99. EntroPay Plastic MasterCard is a prepaid physical card and may be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted, including retail shops and ATMs. You will receive your new EntroPay Plastic MasterCard and PIN number through the post within a few days of applying.

Dear Sukhpreet, You can use any debit card issued by any bank. Please check whether it has a 3 digit card verification no on the back side. If the card don’t have a card verification no contact the bank to issue a different debit card.

When i tried to verify my paypal account with this vitual card, They are not accepting. I sent a message to entropay support team, and asked for their support. As i read in your post that any debit card with cvv number can be used to fund Entropay is not quite true.if it is a debit card (say Sbi Visa ) or a virtual credit card (Say Hdfc Netsafe) issued by an indian bank, it wont work in foreign websites, they only work in indian websites who request the transaction in rupee. HDFC also blocked their netsafe for foreign websites recently.
in anycase, Do you know a Debit card issued by indian bank which still works on foreign websites? pls keep posted

I’ve been using entropay since around last 3-4 years. I was among one of first lot on Indian users.. (they had mentioned it… i dont know the truth)
Not only did i verified my paypal but did lot of online purchases. That time it was far cheap. And the minimum loading amount was really less. I think now the minimum loading amount is $20.
Now i have minimized their usuage as i am having a creditcard with axis bank and they allow to create virtual cards for totally free and as much as i want. Its cool.

My question is: Can i use HDFC Netsafe VCC for verifying facebook accounts. I require it for creating ads. I have facebook $100 coupons but it requires Credit Card to redeem it. So can i use HDFC Netsafe card or entropay vcc for verifying facebook account?
Also, if i can use any of them, when you go facebook billing centre, the ask for the name on the card, as well as billing address. So what should be the billing address as when creating VCC there is no option to provide address.

Dear Sasi, You have got the reply from ICICI and register like they are saying. For HDFC the internet banking password and verified by visa password are different.
After funding entropay account say 20$ and verifying with paypal, i am leftover with some balance in my entropay account.u said that we cant withdraw money from entropay. My question is can i use the leftover money in entropay account for purchases online and also can i maintain the account with zero balance. I hope u hav undrstood this because i only want to take entropay card to verify paypal and aftr that withdraw funds from entropay.
Dear rajeshwar, You can use the remaining balance for purchases and maintain the account with zero balance. You have to do transactions in a six month period.

Dear Jason, I am an Electronics Engineer. If you have netsafe you don’t need to use Entropay. The advantage with Entropay is that any one with a debit card can create VCC.

You have really helped me and my friend to understand these things.Just one more question, my friend wants to know the receiving limit for US paypal account, as the sending limit is increased to $2000 if a CC is added, but there is no mention about the receiving limit before a Bank account is confirmed. I told him that it is $500 per month and it resets every month. Please correct me if I am wrong.

How safe it is to send a scanned copy of both sides of a debit card after blocking the middle 8 digits & the CVV as I have been told to do so by Entropay to verify my a/c?
