Create a Blog at a Mouse Click
If you have a hosting account with fantastico feature, you can install wordpress blog at a mouse click. If you don’t have hosting account, click here to get linux hosting with fantastco feature. After login to cpanel you can see fantastico icon at the bottom of the screen. Click on it. Then you can see lots of features at the left side. Select wordpress from blogs category. Click on new installation. Then you need to specify some values like blog title, username and password for the blog you are creating. You can install it on the root directory or a new directory. You can specify the directory on to which the installation is done. If you want to install it on the root directory leave it blank. Once you click install wordpress your wordpress blog is ready in a few seconds. To change the look of your blog, you only need to change the theme.
If you want to change the theme or install plugins you have use ftp software to upload the theme or plugins. Use filezilla which is a free ftp software. You have to upload themes to wp-content/themes directory. Once it is done you can change the theme by logging to your blog and click on appearance and select the theme. Similarly for installing plugins you have to upload plugins to wp-content/plugins folder and activate it by selecting it from plugins tab.
If i register a site somewhere [Eg. Godaddy.com or hostgator.com], should I give my original contact information. Will it be safe in case I give my original contact details there? Will there be any problem in case i give a fake address?
